Introducing On Point, a gem of a home situated on a sloping block in Sydney’s Mosman overlooking the picturesque Quakers Hat Bay. We have been refreshing and improving this home gradually over the past 20 years.  

When it came time to referesh the kitchen and furnishings, we listened closely to what the architecture wanted to say. “Leave me to breathe” she said. Alas, a soft linden-blossom green kitchen was installed. Carefully curated furniture from Cult Design easily adapts the space from an intimate setting for 2 to a full house of 20. The PK54™ dining table can be made smaller by removing the timber extensions. It is surrounded by the playful Flamingo chair by Fredericia.

The much loved B&B sofa was reupholstered in a Svenskt Tenn’s Gröna Fåglar fabric and paired with Maggiolina armchairs by Zanotta. Strong Scandinavian furniture classics, soft cotton and linen rugs and colourful Josef Frank textiles creates a balanced space that gently dialogues with the building so artfully designed by Louise Nettleton decades ago.
