The Finnish House sits on a busy street in Sydney’s Woollahra. The house was “reversed” to open up to the quiet back lane and the large garden leaving the street facade discreet and private. The study on the top floor was incorporated in the existing roof space and has a terrace overlooking the back garden. The furniture choices reflect the owners Finnish heritage and together with their art and book collection creates a personal and private retreat on top of the house.
